When should I resend, retry, or revoke an invitation?
Resend replaces an unused link, Retry creates a new invitation after an unfinished attempt, and Revoke closes an unused link.
- Resend
- Use Resend when it is available on an Invited, Opened, or Expired row. Kira keeps the same invitation record, issues a new private link, and starts a fresh 30-day window. The previous link stops working. An expired invitation returns to Invited.
- Retry
- Use Retry when the candidate started but the attempt ended unfinished. Kira revokes that invitation and sends a brand-new one because one completion is allowed per invitation. The old link cannot be used again.
- Revoke invitation
- Use Revoke invitation when an Invited or Opened link should no longer admit the candidate. The link stops working immediately. Revoking does not delete anything already recorded.
