Your interview with Kira
An employer sent you a link. Here is what happens, so none of it is a surprise.
A person decides. Kira never rejects anyone.
- No camera
- No app
- It’s recorded
- Skip any question
What happens, step by step
Open the link
It works on any device. Nothing to install, no account to make.
Say who you are
Type your name and email, so the employer knows the interview is yours.
Read the notice
It says you’ll talk with an AI, and that the interview is recorded. Nothing starts until you agree.
Check your microphone
A few seconds, so Kira can hear you clearly.
Talk with Kira
One question at a time, with follow-ups. No clock on any question. To skip one, just say so.
You’re done
The employer reads your interview and decides what happens next.
What happens with your answers
Your words
Your interview is written out as text. Kira pulls quotes with timestamps and matches them to the criteria the employer set.
No one is watching you
No camera. No screen monitoring. No proctoring, and no cheating detection. Take notes, look things up, keep a page open.
You can ask Kira things
Ask anything during the interview. Kira often can’t answer the specifics — pay, shifts, the exact location. Ask the employer those.
Who decides, and when
A person at the employer reads your interview and decides. Kira never rejects anyone.
The employer sets the timeline, so Kira can’t tell you when you’ll hear. If it’s been a while, ask them.
Recording, data, your rights
The interview is recorded as audio and as text. Nothing is recorded before you agree, and your data is stored in the EU.
You can ask to see it or have it deleted, any time. There is no download button — a copy is assembled by hand. Ask the employer, or us.
If speaking is hard
Accents are fine. Kira doesn’t analyse your voice, your accent or how you sound. Only what you say counts.
If a spoken interview is difficult for any reason, ask the employer for another way before you start. The employer chooses the process.
If a word comes out wrong in the text, tell the employer. The recording sits beside it.
Questions candidates ask
No. Kira is an AI interviewer, and you’re told that before you start. Nobody listens live. The employer’s hiring team reads it afterwards.
There’s no clock on any question. The whole interview has to finish within 90 minutes, and almost nobody gets near it.
Open the link again. The answers you already gave are saved, and Kira carries on from where you stopped.
The employer picks the language when they set the interview up. Kira interviews in 13 languages.
Yes, at any time. Ask the employer, or write to us, and it is deleted.
Nothing automatic. Kira never rejects anyone, so a person at the employer reads your interview and decides. They set the timeline, not us. Your recording and transcript stay until someone deletes them, and you can ask for that.
