How do I move candidates through the pipeline?
Use a candidate's stage control for one move, or select several candidates and choose Move to stage for a batch move.
Move candidates
- Open the vacancy's Candidates tab. For one candidate, open the row menu or the stage control on their scorecard and choose the new stage.
- For several completed, scored candidates, select their rows and choose Move to stage in the selection bar.
- A move into Rejected requires a reason, such as Not a fit, Position filled, Withdrew, or Unresponsive. Moving someone out of Hired or Rejected asks you to confirm that you are reversing a recorded decision.
Change your stage names
In Settings, open Pipeline stages. You can rename stages in all six fixed categories: New, In review, Shortlisted, Interview, Hired, and Rejected.
Within the first four categories, you can also add, remove, and reorder stages. Hired and Rejected are rename-only. Kira uses the fixed category for reporting, whatever you call the stage.
Before moving someone, verify their scorecard or compare the shortlist side by side.
