Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations for Kira AI subscriptions purchased through getkira.com. All payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record.

Subscription Plans

Kira AI offers monthly subscription plans (Starter at $149/month and Professional at $349/month) as well as custom Enterprise plans. All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Free Trial

We offer a free trial so you can evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan. No credit card is required to start a trial. We encourage you to fully explore the Service during the trial period to ensure it meets your needs.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@getkira.com. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • You retain full access to the Service until the end of your paid period
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after your subscription ends, then permanently deleted

Refund Eligibility

We want you to be satisfied with Kira AI. If you are not happy with the Service, the following refund terms apply:

Within 14 Days of First Payment

If you are within 14 days of your first subscription payment, you may request a full refund — no questions asked. This applies to your initial subscription charge only.

After 14 Days

After the initial 14-day period, refunds are generally not provided for partially used billing periods. However, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may issue refunds in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Extended service outages that significantly impacted your ability to use the platform
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Technical issues that prevented you from using core features and could not be resolved by our support team

Enterprise Plans

Refund terms for Enterprise plans are governed by the individual service agreement. Please refer to your contract or contact your account manager.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@getkira.com. Please include your account email address, the date of the charge, and the reason for your refund request. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Paddle.com, our payment provider. Refunds are typically returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Paddle handles all refund transactions as the merchant of record.

Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade from Professional to Starter, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No prorated refund is issued for the remaining time on your current plan. You retain access to Professional features until the end of your current billing period.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorized, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing disputes quickly and fairly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
