## How we use cookies and browser storage

Kira-AI uses cookies and browser storage to keep you logged in, support interview access and remember your preferences. The support chat and, if you allow it, Google Analytics set cookies of their own. Embedded help and blog videos connect to YouTube when the page opens and may use cookies. This page explains what we use and how you can control it.

Our hosting provider keeps server logs that include IP addresses.

## Optional measurement on the website and recruiter app

One optional choice allows Google Analytics 4 on the public Kira-AI website and logged-in recruiter app, and lets us measure whether a Google ad led to a workspace signup or payment. App analytics uses route templates rather than record identifiers or page titles. It does not run on candidate, interview, public-demo, public-careers, login, onboarding or legal pages. We do not load a Google Ads browser tag. Advertising storage, ad personalisation, remarketing and Google Signals remain off.

The choice is versioned and lasts up to 6 months. Change it through “Cookie settings” in the website footer or recruiter user menu. Choosing “Reject optional” stops optional collection, revokes the consented Google click and source payload used for Ads measurement, and removes analytics cookies for the current origin. The operational workspace signup source disclosed in the privacy policy remains under our legitimate interest. If analytics had started, the page reloads after withdrawal so the loaded tag cannot continue. Optional Google click and source data expires no later than 90 days after capture.

We use browser storage to remember preferences, such as your theme, filters and dismissed language notice, and to save vacancy drafts while you work. Stored items may remain until the application removes them or you clear your browser’s website data.

## The support chat

This website, and the logged-in pages of the Kira-AI app, carry a support chat run by Crisp (Crisp IM SAS, Nantes, France). Our support chat uses cookies when you open it to keep your conversation available. It is not present in the interview room or on a company’s public careers pages.

Crisp receives your IP address and whatever you write in the chat. If you are logged in to the app and open the chat, it also receives your name, email address and workspace name, so we know who we are answering. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and Kira-AI never sends it interview recordings, transcripts or scorecards — beyond that, it sees what is typed into the chat. Crisp stores its data in the European Union.

## Embedded videos

Help and blog articles may include a YouTube video. It uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which connects to YouTube when the page opens; Google then receives your IP address and may use cookies or browser storage to provide the video. This does not change your Kira-AI measurement preference. See [Google’s privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

## Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings and clear stored website data. Doing so may sign you out, reset your preferences, interrupt access to an interview or lose the history of a support chat.

We update this policy when our use of cookies or browser storage changes. We ask before optional measurement starts.
