# How can I request a copy or deletion of my interview data?

Contact the company you interviewed with first because it controls your interview data.

## How requests work

1.  Tell the hiring company which vacancy and interview your request concerns.
2.  Ask for access, a copy, correction, restriction, or deletion.

Candidate requests are handled manually. There is no candidate self-service deletion or download button, and interview data does not disappear automatically after a fixed period.

A completed deletion removes the candidate record and the related recording, transcript, scorecard, and notes for that company. Read [what is recorded and who can see it](https://getkira.com/help/what-is-recorded-and-who-can-see-it) for the data involved.

Each employer controls its own workspace. If you interviewed with more than one company, send a separate request to each one.
