## What happens, step by step

    Open the link in your phone or computer’s browser and allow microphone access. No app or Kira-AI account is needed.

    With a personal invitation, enter your name and surname. With a public vacancy link, verify your email with the six-digit code first.

    ### Read the notice
    
    It says you’ll talk with an AI, and that the interview is recorded. Nothing starts until you agree.

    ### Check your microphone
    
    A few seconds, so Kira-AI can hear you clearly.

    One question at a time, with follow-ups. No clock on any question. To skip one, just say so.

## What happens with your answers

    Your interview is written out as text. Kira-AI pulls quotes with timestamps and matches them to the criteria the employer set.

    No camera. No screen monitoring. No proctoring, and no cheating detection. Take notes, look things up, keep a page open.
    
-   ### You can ask Kira-AI things
    
    Ask anything during the interview. Kira-AI often can’t answer the specifics — pay, shifts, the exact location. Ask the employer those.
    

## Who decides, and when

A person at the employer reads your interview and decides. Kira-AI never rejects anyone.

The employer sets the timeline, so Kira-AI can’t tell you when you’ll hear. If it’s been a while, ask them.

## Recording, data, your rights

Recording starts only after you agree. Recordings and transcripts are stored in the EU. AI processing may take place outside the EU.

## If speaking is hard

Kira-AI assesses your answers against the employer’s criteria. It does not score your accent or tone of voice.

If a spoken interview is difficult for any reason, ask the employer for another way before you start. The employer chooses the process.

If a word comes out wrong in the text, tell the employer. The recording sits beside it.

## Questions candidates ask

### Am I talking to a real person?

No. Kira-AI is an AI interviewer, and you’re told that before you start. Nobody listens live. The employer’s hiring team reviews your interview afterwards.

### What if my connection drops?

If you’re interrupted or lose connection, you can return to an active interview and continue after your last saved answer.

### Which language will it be in?

The employer picks the language when they set the interview up. Kira-AI interviews in 13 languages.

### Can I have my interview deleted?

You can request deletion through the hiring company or by emailing [support@getkira.com](mailto:support@getkira.com).

### What happens if I don’t get the job?

Nothing automatic. Kira-AI never rejects anyone, so a person at the employer reads your interview and decides. They set the timeline, not us. Your recording and transcript stay until someone deletes them, and you can ask for that.
