## Why we built Kira-AI

Four convictions. They decide what goes into the product, and what stays out of it.

-   ### Candidates should actually finish
    
    Screening shouldn’t need a camera, an app or a download. Candidates open a link and answer by voice.
    
-   ### Screening everyone should be affordable
    
    A small team should be able to buy this without a sales call, an annual contract or a budget meeting.
    
-   ### Evidence, not gut feel
    
    Every score points back to what the candidate said. Recruiters can read the transcript and listen to the interview.
    
-   ### Trust is built in
    
    Candidates are told they’re talking to AI before the first question. A person makes every decision.
    

Who builds it

## The company behind Kira-AI

I’m Vladimir Terekhov, co-founder of [Attract Group](https://attractgroup.com/), which I started in 2011.

The first team we built Kira-AI for was our own. At Attract Group, we wanted to make screening simpler for our recruiters.

When we saw how it helped their day-to-day work, we decided to share it. An internal tool became a product for other hiring teams.

## What we won’t build

Four things stay out of the product. Not for now — at all.

-   ### No camera or screen monitoring
    
    No eye tracking, no screen watching, no checks on the room. Kira-AI listens to the answer.
    
-   ### No cheating detection
    
    We won’t call anyone dishonest because software had a hunch.
    
-   ### No automated rejection
    
    Kira-AI never rejects anyone. A person on your team makes every call.
    
-   ### Nothing read into a voice
    
    No emotion recognition, no personality scoring. What a candidate says counts. How they sound doesn’t.
